MEET OUR FOUNDER
Latasha Brown
Hello, I'm Latasha, the passionate force behind Global Lofts, a
mission-led hospitality brand dedicated to transforming the industry
with genuine inclusivity and cultural representation. Since 2016, my
journey has been fueled by a profound love for culture and a desire to
make global experiences accessible. Based in Louisville, Kentucky,
Global Lofts curates boutique accommodations, fostering authentic
multicultural interactions within local communities.
Our mission is to connect travel through the African diaspora,
offering culturally immersive experiences that honor and celebrate
this vibrant heritage. We aim to provide travelers with meaningful
journeys that deepen their understanding and connection to diverse
cultures.
My commitment to hospitality goes beyond percentages and
accolades. As a soon-to-be member of the less than 1% of Black
women hotel owners in the U.S., I've earned recognition as the Most
Admired Woman in Hospitality in 2023 and participated in
prestigious competitions like "She Has A Deal" in Washington D.C. My
story extends to real estate, where I bring a wealth of experience and
have contributed significantly to development projects in Ghana,
Africa. Inspired by the National Association of Black Hotel Owners,
Operators, and Developers (NABHOOD), I am dedicated to promoting
minority ownership and development in the industry.
Beyond business, I'm a traveler, a cultural enthusiast, and a believer
in creating spaces that resonate with the heartbeat of diverse
communities. My vision for Global Lofts is not just a hospitality
brand; it's a cultural hub embodying the spirit of adventure and
genuine connection. Join me on this journey, where every stay is an
